Your Pictures are Art- Show them! | Tampa Family Photographer

Today, my husband and I were finally deciding on what pictures to order for some wall art for our family room (see even the photographer falls behind on stuff like this too!).  As we debated on what sizes to order, I logged into one of the best tools that I have, that will let you design any room in your house.  I had written a blog post on this when I first received the software but because I believe that this system is incredibly useful, helpful, fun, and amazing (I could go on) I decided it was worth writing about again.  I would also like to extend a special offer to all current clients that for the month of March, if you would like to order any collection wall prints (canvas, wood, metal, or floating) I will offer 15% off those products and you can see for yourself how great this is!  Interested?  Read the past blog post below and let's talk!  This can all be done online so Raleigh clients, no worries there!

So, you just had photographs taken of your family, your children, or your soon to be new addition to your family.  What should you do with your pictures? Where should you put them?  What size(s) would work?  Will those pictures look good together?  How should they be arranged?  I know that most clients ask these questions because I do as well.

This is why I am SO very excited that I have been using a program called, Swift Galleries.  I can't even begin to tell you how awesome this system is and what it will do for you and your photographs for YOUR home.  When you receive your normal gallery of pictures, we can now take any of the pictures that you get in your package and put them together with a picture of the actual room you want them in.  I can send over some suggestions and you can see exactly what they would look like (and what sizes are recommended for the room).  If you like them, we can decide on what product and go from there.   If you still aren't sure, then let's play with some of the images and layouts and see what we can find together.  It can be extremely collaborative and will help your room showcase your family, your art!

It doesn't get much better than this!!  I have created a couple wall galleries from some past sessions.  PLEASE don't hesitate to reach out to me if you have any questions.  Let's decorate those walls together and let your memories fill your house and leave all the guess work out :)

Gabrielle Elyse NAPCP | Tampa Child Photographer

A few weeks ago I received notification that I was accepted into the National Association of Professional Child Photographers (NAPCP).  NAPCP is a global group of talented children's photographers who connect, grow, teach and promote child photography.  You can check out the badge on my homepage :)

It is such an honor to be have been accepted into this amazing organization!  Feel free to look around their site as well, you will even find a parent's section with a variety of articles you can read as well as even some crafts you can do at home with your kids.

I am so fortunate doing this job and getting to be a part of organizations like this!  Thank you for letting me do what I love <3

A Look Back at 2016 | Tampa Family Photographer

Wow.  What.a.year!  And I don't say that lightly- it was an absolutely incredible year.  I am just amazed and so very grateful for the families and people that I have had the chance to work with- both those that are new and then those where we met for the first time during your session.  This can be a saturated industry with talented photographers to chose from on all ranges of the pricing scale, yet my clients entrusted me to capture their they happened.  I thank you all from the bottom of my heart and I look forward to seeing returning faces with future trips back to the Raleigh area and am excited to meet new ones in our new hometown of Tampa (Palm Harbor).  If 2016 is any indication of what 2017 is going to be then I am going to hold on now.

Now it wouldn't be right to just say all this and then leave- I want to take a look back with you with some of my favorite pictures from sessions last year!  Enjoy and Happy New Year!

Mommy and Me Session | Raleigh Family Photographer

I just love these two!  Not only do they both have a special place in our family but they are also very special clients.  I have known Alex for about 3 years and Miss K since she joined this world.  Alex is such an amazing mom with love for Miss K that is beyond apparent to any outsider.  Alex has made mention of an annual Mommy and Me Session and this was our 2nd one (with our 3rd one planned this coming May- can't wait to travel from Tampa for this one).  It has become a session that I truly look forward to now each year and after you see these pictures, you can easily see why.  I absolutely loved everything and every single picture of this session.  While I won't post each of them (though I could post every picture from their session), here are a couple of them...Enjoy!

PS I also have to make special mention of a belated birthday to Miss K who just turned 2 <3  Growing up so fast!  Happy birthday sweet girl and can't wait to see you both soon!

Raleigh Senior and Family Session | Family Photographer

Back in June, I had the honor of photographing this super fun family at Umstead Park.  They honestly had my stomach in stitches from laughing so hard.  We spent time walking around the park capturing the family together for one last time before the eldest son headed out to UNC-Asheville for his first year of college.  In addition to some great family shots, we were able to capture the kids together and of course alone with a mini Senior Session.

I had a great time and while it has been a while since this session occurred I couldn't just bypass it and not post a couple of pictures from it!  Enjoy!
