I will be the first to admit that this is probably the most I have fallen behind on blogging! Not to make excuses but things have been a little crazy with sessions (tis the season), vacation, sessions and being sick! But alas, I am making progress again and am so excited to share some pictures from this session.
Erin reached out after the Raleigh Mom's Blog article from Jill came out. Erin also happens to be a contributor to the blog (please visit the site if you haven't already- they really have great articles). In talking with Erin, she was looking for pictures of her two kids that weren't on a phone and as a lot of us moms can often relate to being the ones taking the pictures, actually included her in them. We decided on Umstead Park because let's be honest, this location is pretty awesome for any type of photo session- I absolutely LOVE it as it gives you a little bit of everything in one spot plus it is just gorgeous.
It is interesting with this job because I always feel that I learn a little something from all of my clients. This session was no exception. Erin's two children were absolutely the sweetest and genuinely closest children I have seen for brother and sister. I know that we all have our moments (and I am sure that they have theirs as well) but it captured and it left me thinking multiple times how much I hope that my two can continue to be close. We had a wonderful time and I was so happy that they decided to bring the family dog as well! I love it when we can incorporate ALL family members, and you all know I love the dogs!
Enjoy some of the pictures from our session!
