So I am a little behind with this post- I think mainly because I am still trying to soak it all in and am in part denial. As adults hit various age milestones you hear about them having a hard time with one over another. This year I definitely felt it, but it wasn't for my birthday, it was my eldest child's birthday....her FIFTH birthday! Five is a huge milestone. We had just started her in TK at a school in Raleigh this year, next year is Kindergarten, 1st grade, and then it just continues to go by extremely fast. I look at just how fast these first five have gone and I have to stop and take a breath! I love getting to see this girl (and her brother) grow and turning into the adults that they will become, but I am ok with us staying 5 for a bit and plan on soaking all of it in.
For her 5th party, it was requested that we had a Paw Patrol theme. She LOVES everything with Paw Patrol (even though we don't have cable) especially Skye! She invited her classmates as well as some other friends to the park. The weather was great and we got to grill out, celebrate, and have fun! Special thank you to all those that came out! I wanted to share a couple pictures of C and her brother enjoying her party! She has already begun planning her next one so stay tuned :)
Happy Birthday to the sweetest and smartest girl I know- I can NOT even begin to imagine our lives without you! XOXO
