Yates Mill Maternity Session | Raleigh Maternity Photographer

I was so very excited when Ashleigh and Matt first reached out to me about their upcoming needs for their baby girl that was on the way.  I had the chance to meet Matt back in May with Miss Abbie (their absolutely adorable boxer) at the Carolina Boxer Rescue photo shoot that I did in the Raleigh area.

We did their maternity session at Yates Mill Park in Raleigh.  It is such a beautiful location and worked out just perfectly.....well after the rain finally stopped.  We had originally scheduled the session for the Friday that the rain first started, which at that point I am not sure if anybody knew just how long the rain was going to last.  We rescheduled for the next week, only to find out that we were still under so much rain.  Ashleigh and Matt were such great sports about it and we had a date for the following week and alas, finally Raleigh had some sun!  After seeing the weather on the day of our session it was definitely worth the wait!  The light was great and the temperature perfect and the soon-to-be parents were truly beaming.

Ashleigh and Matt were great sports and never complained for any position or idea that I may have thrown after them...and even when I would say just one more...oh wait no really just one more...ok one more :)  They were both so awesome.  I had such a great time and am so excited to meet their new addition in a matter of weeks.  Congrats to you both!

I had to throw these in because I love the honest laughter.  I can honestly say that I have no idea what was said but I love how it captured.  Nothing is better than true happiness and laughs.
